Notarised translation of documents for Ukrainian authorities
A mistake in the translation or in the form of certification costs more than the translation itself — permits are annulled over it. We make sure your name matches across every document.

About this service
Ukrainian authorities accept foreign documents only in a translation certified by a notary. Beyond the text itself, the form of certification matters — and so does the spelling of the name, which has to match across every document.
More in the knowledge base: How does a foreigner get a tax number (IPN) in Ukraine?Who it is for
- Foreigners filing with the Migration Service, the tax office or a notary
- Anyone whose name is spelled differently across documents
- Companies preparing a file on a foreign employee
What documents are needed
- The original or a good scan
- Earlier translations, if any
- The spelling of your name already used in your Ukrainian documents
What it gives you
- A translation in the form your authority accepts first time
- Your name spelled the same way across all your Ukrainian documents
- The finished document in one or two days
- Several documents together — cheaper and faster than one at a time
How we work
Full support. You hand over the documents, we do the rest.
At every stage one lawyer runs your case, reachable at any time.
What it costs
The fee is fixed in the contract before the work starts. Case expenses are paid separately.
Converted from US dollars at the National Bank rate of 07.09.2026, rounded down to the hundred.
- Translation of the document into Ukrainian
- Notarial certification in the form the authority accepts
- Checking the spelling of the name against earlier documents
- Handing over the finished translation with the original
The price is the lawyer's work. State duties, notary, translations and insurance are paid separately: those amounts depend on your case.
For companies: an invoice and a full set of accounting documents.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the spelling matter so much?+
Because documents are checked against each other. If the passport translation spells your name differently from the permit or the tax card, the authority sees different people. So we start with the check, not the translation.
Will a translation made abroad do?+
Usually not: certification by a Ukrainian notary is required. Show us the document and we will say whether it can be used.
How long does it take?+
One to two days per document. Several documents are done as a batch — cheaper and faster.
What if my name is already spelled differently in different papers?+
We identify which version is the primary one in your Ukrainian documents and bring the rest into line with it. Sometimes that means reissuing the document itself rather than the translation — we say so at once.
Apostille first, or translation first?+
That is settled before the work starts, not after: the order depends on the country that issued the document and the authority that will accept it. Name both and we will map the document's route.
How much does the notary charge?+
The notary's tariff is an expense. It depends on the document and is paid separately from our fee.
