A legal service for business and private clients that works differently. We solve what matters, prepare the papers, go to court, register companies — and take up as little of your time as the work allows.
Who we are
resident. is a practice that grew out of migration law and now covers the full circle of questions a foreigner meets in Ukraine: status, work, business, property, family, courts.
The service rests on one idea: a client should not have to become a lawyer to understand their own case. We take on the documents, the authorities and the deadlines; you are left with the decisions and the signature.
We work across Ukraine and with clients abroad: everything that can be done remotely, we do remotely. Hence the motto — we are beside you, wherever you are.

We publish what we know
The knowledge base is a working reference, not a blog for search engines. Every article rests on current law with links, carries the date it was last checked and an open history of edits. If it lets you handle the matter yourself, that is a fine outcome.

What we do not do
- We do not promise a result that is not ours to give. The decision belongs to a state authority or a court; we answer for the preparation, the deadlines and the arguments.
- We do not take a case when we can see there is no chance. You hear that at the first conversation, not after payment.
- We do not solve matters through contacts inside the authorities. We work by procedure — slower, but it leaves you no problems later.
