About this service
An entry ban is imposed by a decision of an authority and has its own ground and term. It can be lifted through an application to the authority that made the decision or through an administrative court — which route fits depends on what caused it.
More in the knowledge base: Type C or type D visa: which Ukrainian visa do you need?Who it is for
- Foreigners turned back at the border with no reason given
- Anyone who has received a decision imposing an entry ban
- Anyone whose ban follows an earlier breach of the stay rules
What documents are needed
- Passport
- The decision or refusal, if you have it
- Documents about earlier entries and stays in Ukraine
- Documents about your ties to Ukraine: family, work, property
What it gives you
- You finally know the reason for the ban and its term instead of guessing
- It is clear what can be done about it and whether it is worth starting
- An advocate runs the case, in court where the administrative route is not enough
How we work
Full support. You hand over the documents, we do the rest.
At every stage one lawyer runs your case, reachable at any time.
What it costs
The fee is fixed in the contract before the work starts. Case expenses are paid separately.
Converted from US dollars at the National Bank rate of 07.09.2026, rounded down to the hundred.
- Requests to the authorities to establish the reason for the ban and its term
- Legal analysis: whether there are grounds to have it lifted or appealed
- Preparing the application to the authority that made the decision
- Court representation where the administrative route is not enough
The price is the lawyer's work. State duties, notary, translations and insurance are paid separately: those amounts depend on your case.
For companies: an invoice and a full set of accounting documents.

Frequently asked questions
Why was I refused entry when nothing was explained at the border?+
The reason may indeed not be given at the border. It is established by requests to the authorities — which is where we start, because there is no defence without knowing the reason.
How long does it take?+
One to three months as a rule: the time goes on the authorities' replies. If the case moves to court, the term depends on the court.
Can the result be guaranteed or sped up?+
Nobody can guarantee that a ban will be lifted, and we make no such promises. Once the reason is known we tell you honestly what the chances are, and take on only the cases where they are real.
Can this be handled without entering Ukraine?+
Yes. The requests, the applications and the representation are all done under a power of attorney; your presence in Ukraine is not needed.
Does a ban last indefinitely?+
No, it is imposed for a defined term. That is why we establish not only the reason but the date it runs to: sometimes waiting it out is the wiser course.
